Around the holidays and even on the weekends I like to get up and have eggs and bacon and cook biscuits with my husband. Blake makes great homemade biscuits, and I love to eat them warm and wash them down with an ice cold glass of milk.

BACKGROUND:

Miranda Lambert is country music’s reigning female vocalist of the year, as bestowed by both the Country Music Association (for the second straight year) and the Academy of Country Music. Miranda made history when her latest album, Four The Record, debuted atop the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart, making her the first artist ever to have each of her first four of albums debut at number one. She’s also won the prized album of the year trophy from the CMA and ACM.

Miranda received the top country female vocal performance honor at the 2011 Grammy Awards for “The House That Built Me.” She’s been named one of People magazine’s Most Beautiful People and one of Maxim’s Hottest Women of Country.

In May 2011, Lambert married fellow country singer Blake Shelton. The couple resides in Oklahoma.
